Resetting a User Password (Admin Only)

As an administrator, you have the ability to reset a user password.

 

To reset a user password:

 

  1. Select Admin > User Accounts.  

  2. Locate the user account.

  3. Click the username. The account details appear.

  4. In the Password field, replace the current password with a generic password.

  5. In the Confirm Password field, replace the current password with the generic password.

  6. Click Save Account.

  7. Send the new password to the e-mail address associated with the account.

 

NOTE: To maintain network security, the only allowable method for distributing updated password information is via the e-mail address associated with the user account. This e-mail address should never be modified.
